Whiff of Joy Fall Card! :)
I love this image from Whiff of Joy and I am so happy I got to do some stamping this past weekend. Things have been so crazy with me being sick and then my Mom had her other knee replaced. The craziness just never ends here.
I made this card for a close friend and made it with layers and layers of paper. I used my same technique with the Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I also used Crystal Effects on the card from Stampin' Up!. I added the leaves and corn and acorn and then used Stickles on them.
The baubles are from Stamping Bella and the flowers are from Prima Flowers. I also used Doodlebug velvet brads on the bottom of the card. I used Pebbles chalk around the image and for the grass. I also used Dimensional foam for the layers on the card. I think this is the first card I ever made without using ribbon! LOL.. lol.
The weather is getting colder here now and I am sooooooooo not looking forward to Winter. Eck.
I hope everyone has a blessed day. Today is a present. :)
Love,
Lisa

Tilda the Witch! I am home! :)
I have had the flu and have been so sick, I am finally home and I thank God. :)
I started this card over a week ago and finally finished her. Isn't she cute? The flash hit the tree but that is okay. This is Tilda the Witch. I used my same techniqes and used Stickles on the tree and on Tilda. I then used Crystal Effects on the tree and on Tilda. I cut Tilda out and put dimensionals on her and wanted to make sure I did not cover the face on the tree.
All of the embellishments are from Doodlebug. I used Scrappers floss on the buttons. The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio. I embossed it and put it on glitter paper and then dimensionals to make it pop on the card.
The ribbon is from Doodlebug too.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I am going to get lots of rest. :)
Love and hugs,
Lisa :)

Magnolia ~ Tilda School Girl..
Arn't the leaves pretty behind the card? Oh do I love this time of year! :)
I made this card a week ago for one of my daughter's teachers. God bless my daughter's teachers for putting up with her.. lol.. lol. Kerilee is very spoiled and can be such a challenge. I never realized that 16 would be such a challenging age. Ugh. Thank God she is a junior and soon enough, off to college she goes! :)
I used Prisma color pencils on Tilda with the Gamsol and stumps. I later used the Stickles and then Crystal Effects on her. I added embellishments from Doodlebug and the buttons are from Stampin' Up!. The ribbon is from Stamping Bella. Oh and the sentiment is from Kimmie's Whimsical Stamps. I just added the sentiment today. :)
I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Lots of hugs and blessings,
Lisa Marie
Doraline the Witch! :)
I just love Doraline from Motivet stamps. I realized after I colored her that I should have colored her hat black but that is okay. :) I was having a blonde moment. lol
I used my same techniques and then added the stars from Doodlebug and the ribbon from Doodlebug. The button on the ribbon is also from Doodlebug.. lol.. lol.. all Doodlebug!
I used the sentiment from Pink Cat Studio and I embossed it. I shaded the outter part with of the sentiment with Pebbles chalk.
I have been so sick these past few days, I am hoping that I can get some strength to do another card today.
Did everyone see Kimmie's new stamps that she has out? She has a new store. I am going to try and make a card today with her new stamps. They are very cute. :)
Good luck Kimmie! My prayers are with you for great success!

I added a ghost to this one and then embossed the Happy Halloween as I did on the other card. I added embellishments from Doodlebug and also Stamping Bella. I added a button and used scrappers floss.
I love the glitter paper from Doodlebug. They have so many different kinds of glitter paper and velvet paper.
I hope everyone gets some stamping in today.

CC Design Trevor the Mummy!
CC Design came out with such cute Halloween stamps. This is Trevor the Mummy. I colored him in and then painted with acrylic white paint certain areas of the mummy costume. I then used Stickles on the costume, (star dust) and later added Crystal Effects to him.
The embellishments are from different companies. I added Bella baubles to the top of the card.
The ribbon is from Carina.. I thought it went perfect with the colors of the card. :)
Oh.. I almost forgot.. Kraftin' Kimmie opened her new stamp store. Check out her blog on the right of mine and then go to her store so you can see her new precious stamps. They are adorable.
I hope everyone has a blessed night.
Hugs and smiles,

CC Design "Autumn Emma"
I stamped this image a while back and finally colored her in. I used my same techniques and added Prisma Flowers to the card as well as buds. I painted the buds and then used Stickles on them.
Buttons and scrappers floss were put in the card and the ribbon is from Doodlebug. I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up! and I used leaves from Jolee's Stickers that I had from Michael's for such a long time. I finally put them to use. lol.
I finally tried Bazzil Cardstock and I love it. It is fun to try different card stock out. This is the shimmer cardstock.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. It is raining here. Blah.
Blessings and hugs,

CC Design Autumn Card!
I was happy with how this card turned out. My dad's dear friend has lung cancer and never smoked a day in his life. He just started chemo so I thought I would send him a card.
This stamp is from CC Design and it is called Trevor Autumn. I colored him in with the prismacolor pencils and then used the Stickles and Crystal Effect on him. I added brads and a button and scrapper's floss along with leaves. The baubles are from Bella's Stamps. The paper I bought from All that Scraps and from Scrapbook.com. The sentiment is an old sentiment from Stampin' Up! I embossed it and then used Pebbles chalk around it. I put Dimensional's on it and then placed it at the bottom of the card. :)
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I have been so sick these past few days with pain.. I am going to get some rest. :)
Many blessings, hugs and smiles,
Lisa Marie

Pink Cat Studio Card!
I think these stamps are so darn cute. I am on a roll with them. I stamped the image and used the prismacolor pencils and Gamsol with stumps on the image. I put Stickles on the images and then I used the Crystal Effects on it. I shadowed the images with Pebbles Chalk and then went to town with embellishments from Doodlebug. Most of the designer paper is from Doodlebug as well.
The ribbon is from Stampin' Up! when they had organdy ribbon.
Fall has reached Connecticut and it is sure getting cold out. The leaves are changing and it is so pretty.
If I feel better this afternoon I am going to work on another card. :)
I hope everyone has a blessed day.
Love and hugs,
Lisa Marie :)

My First Digi Card!!
This is my very first digi card and the image is from Pink Cat Studio. She is so darn cute. I love their digi stamps. I was not sure how the printer ink would work with the pencils and Gamsol, but it worked pretty good! I just need to figure out how to make the images smaller.. lol.
I used my same technique on the card and then added the Crystal Effects. I used designer paper from Bo Bunny and then I added the laser doillie (sp) from Scrapbook.com to it..I also used Doodlebug's glitter paper. The embellishments are from Doodlebug and the ghosts are actually the ribbon and Maya art made the ribbon. It is such cool ribbon.. lol. It has polyfill in it to give the ghosts puffiness. Can you tell I love it? lol
The baubles are from Bella stamps. I love their baubles much more than Robin's Nest.
I am having a day filled with pain but wanted to get this card posted.
I hope everyone has a great, blessed day.
Hugs and smiles,
Lisa Marie :)

Pink Cat Studio Halloween!
Okay, I just thought these little ones were precious. If you go to Pink Cat Studio's website, you can see these cuties and the entire set. You can also see the latest Digi stamps that I just learned about. I bought a few and played with them and I think they are soooooooooo cool!! lol.. I never knew what Digi stamps were until Melissa at Pink Cat Studio told me what they were.. She was a great help! Thank you Melissa! I will post my first Digi card tomorrow. =o)
With this card, I colored the images in with the Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. I used Stickles on them and then the Crystal Effects because the kids love the crystal effects. I know it lightens the image and it does not appear as nice, but kids love the feeling when they touch the images.
The stars are velvet from Doodlebug and the bat is from Doodlebug as well.. I put Stickles on the bat and googly eyes. He needed to be jazzed up. LOL.. I did the same with the spider. I had to give him eyes.
The ribbon I think I got at Michael's. It was so long ago, I can't remember.
With God's help, I am feeling a little better today. My fever is down and I am not in so much pain. Woo hoooo.. =)
Many hugs and smiles,
Lisa
House Mouse Halloween!
I loved this House Mouse stamp and sentiment so I made a card with it for the kids at Yale. I embossed the sentiment and the brads are all new from Doodlebug for Halloween. Aren't they adorable? I loved them. lol
I added scrappers floss and then flowers to the card and painted the flowers with Shimmerz to give them shine.
The bat is from Doodlebug and I just added eyes to him and glitter. I love my bling! lol
If you go to 7kidscollegefund's blog, you will see that Tab is giving away a year's subscription to Crafter's Magazine. Check out how you can win a subscription. :) Thank you Tab! :)
I am off to rest.. I have so much stamping I want to do and can't.. Ugh.. I am hoping I feel better this afternoon and can do another card.
Hugs and blessings,
Lisa Marie :)
Tilda Halloween!
This Tilda stamp is from Magnolia's last years Halloween Stamps. I love this Tilda witch. I used Doodlebug glitter paper to make half circles. I added the sentiment from Pink Cat Studio and the ribbon is from Bo Bunny. I had the pumpkin stickers for ages and finally got to use them. The bats I used glitter on, they were too plain when I received them as a gift so I added glitter and googly eyes to them. lol. I added glitter paint to the Prima Flowers to make them shimmer and then added scrappers floss to them.
I will be adding another post in a bit with information on a gift Tab from 7kidscollegefund is doing for anyone who makes a card for the children at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. What a great gift she is offering. Thank you Tab!! :)
Happy Stamping!
Hugs and smiles,
Lisa Marie :)
Whipper Snapper Halloween!
I am starting Halloween card and I made this card from an old Whipper Snapper Stamp. I used ghost ribbon that my uncle and mother bought at a scrapper's store near Newport, R.I. I loved the ribbon and I even cut a few ghosts to put up on top of the card and I added googly eyes. The ribbon is puffy and I think these ghosts are so darn cute.
I used my same techniques and I added a spider from Doodlebug and gave him eyes and glitter. The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio. I love the stamp set for Halloween that they just put out. I have been busy making cards with the new set.
I used laser paper on the card from Scrapbook.com. They have such great laser paper. It is fun to use on the cards.
Thank you for peeking and I hope everyone has a great day!
Love,
Lisa xo

Sugarplums! :)
Okay, yessssssss, I am having a hard time letting go of summer! lol.. lol.. Oh boy, I think if I keep making summer cards that somehow summer will not leave us.. hahahaha!
I love these stamps from CC Designs. My daughter loved the colors so much and my favorite colors are pink and orange so I her this card.
I added the Magnolia sun to the card and cut it out and then added it with dimensionals. The sand and the shells are from Hawaii. The ribbon is from Carina. The paper, gosh, I have to think.. lol.. brain fog.. or maybe it is the blonde and Polish in me that has me always thinking.. lol..Oh, it is from Stampin' Up!'s new designer paper and then I added Doodlebug glitter paper to it too. The brads are all from Doodlebug.
If I feel better this afternoon, I am going to start a few Halloween cards. I think it's time. lol.
My fever is down this morning but I am in such pain that the next step is a PET Scan to see everything inside my body. The scan is truly amazing. It can see nerves in your body, tumors.. you name it. It is an expensive scan and you can see much more than with an MRI.. It is so expensive and the insurance carriers do not like paying for it. I am glad I am finally approved to get it after a month of waiting for the approval.
Hoping everyone has a great day!
Many hugs and smiles, :)
Lisa
Loving Doraline!
I made this card for the kids at Yale with cancer and I loved the colors. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I used the same techniques I always use and added embellishments from Doodlebug and ribbon from Carina.
I have still been running a fever and after being on Cipro since May, the doctor is changing the antibiotic. We have no idea where the infection is even with all of the CT Scans and blood work I have had. How frustrating!
I hope everyone gets some time to stamp. My Mom was so cute when she said and I think this is so true, we all take a stamp and "bring them to life in such a magical way." Isn't that the truth! lol.
Many hugs and smiles,
Lisa :)

I love Doraline!
As sick as I have been, I think of children with cancer and I asked God for the strength so I can make them cards.. I will be giving them to the children at Yale on Friday when I see my doctor at Yale. :)
I made this card, it took me three days and I am happy with the way it turned out. I colored in Doraline with the prismacolor pencils and then shaded her with the stumps and gamsol. I used Stickles to glitter parts of the images and I later used the Crystal Effects for a three d dimension effect.. the kids love to feel the cards. I added flowers from Stampin' Up! those are the crocheted ones.. and the designer paper is from Doodlebug and Stampin' Up!. The buttons were added and I used scrappers floss along with brads from Doodlebug. The ribbon is from my favorite on line ribbon store which is on the right of my blog. You can click on it to bring you to Carina's store. :)
I hope everyone has a great day.
Many blessings,
Lisa :)
P.S. Did everyone see the new stamps that Motivet has come out with? Oh gosh are they are so darn cute! lol

CC Designs!!
September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I have been busy making cards for the children with cancer at Yale and did another boy card. I loved the way this came out. I think this has to be one of my better cards.. lol.. I loved the summer stamps from CC Designs and I bought all of them. I loved how this little guy came out.
I added the real shells on the left of the card and they are from Hawaii. The ribbon is from Carina and it is like a mesh material.. almost like a net which was perfect for the theme of the card. The sun is from Magnolia. I am so hooked on that sun.. isn't that precious? lol.
I started spiking another fever earlier today and my daughter came home from school and took the picture of the card for me. I really need to learn how to use my new camera and use photobucket. These pictures do no justice to the cards. Ugh.. if there was only more time in the day.
Have a beautiful and blessed day,
Lisa Marie :)

Tilda Surfing!!
I often make cards for children with cancer and I recently made this one. I used Tilda on the surfboard for the stamp and colored her in with the Prismacolor pencils and blended her in with the gamsol and stumps. I used liquid applique and the heating gun on the waves.. I am not happy with how they came out. I later glazed the image with Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up! For the ocean I used Pebbles chalk and also used it on the sky. The shells came from Hawaii along with the sand.

The sentiment is from Stampin'Up! it is a rub on. I used the Pebbles Chalk for the ocean and for the sky. Then added clouds with Liquid Applique. I used the heat gun to make them puffy.
I know summer will be leaving us soon so I thought I would create as many summer cards as I can and enjoy it while we still have the beautiful weather. =)

I used the Happy Hopper Stamp to make this card. Prisma Color Pencils were used and I blended them in with Gamsol. I added Stickles and later glazed the image with Crystal Effects. Lliquid applique was added for hopper's tail.
The sand and shells came from my best friend in Hawaii, Kalina. Thank you Kalina!! The butterfly, brads and token are all from Doodlebug Designs. I love their products.

Dimensionals to attach her to the card. I glazed the cupcake and mouse with Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up! and I also used Stickles on them.
The cardstock came from Stampin' Up! and the Pattern Paper is made by Doodlebug along with the brads and ribbon. I love Doodlebug's products.. lol.. as you can see. The flowers are Prisma flowers and the ticket stub came in a roll that I bought at one of the craft stores online. I forget which store it was. lol..
